Over 40 and struggling to lose weight can "2 Days to Fitness" help me?

This is an important question for many reasons.

For years I have been working with clients in their 40's and up that seem to not respond to any of the typical protocols for losing weight.

Now let me first qualify this statement by explaining that these clients were benefitting from the exercise program based on many other tangible and intangible criteria such as a stronger more toned body, having more energy, less stress, sleeping better etc...so yes our program can help you with a lot less time than you've probably been spending!

but it seems that after a few pounds dropped initially, the scales seemed to come to a grinding halt and nothing I did could get them to budge.

In our 2DF program you will learn that there are basically 3 ways to address weight loss:

  • Eat the "Right Kinds of Foods"
  • Perform "Effective Exercise"
  • Address the "Biochemical Glitches" of the body

If you are following the first 2 closely...and getting Insulin and Leptin under control and performing the right kind of exercise with my 3 Cycle Training System which addresses the metabolism, then it may be time to perform the right blood tests to assess Thyroid Function.

Briefly... the Thyroid produces  two types of hormones triiodothyronine (T3) and thyroxine (T4). Eighty percent of thyroid hormone is T4 and twenty percent is T3, the active part of the thyroid hormone. An underactive thyroid makes your metabolism slow to a crawl, which can make you gain weight even if you don't eat much and losing it seems impossible.

We have found that low fat diets can lead to an underactive thyroid, also polyunsaturated oils such as soybean and corn oil can block the absorption of iodine, which is needed to make thyroid hormone.......

But recent studies have shown an increasing problem with what are called metabolic disruptors such as heavy metals, pesticides and phthalates. Phthalates mainly used as plasticizers (substances added to plastics to increase their flexibility, transparency, durability, and longevity) over many years of exposure are able to interfere with the complex metabolic pathways of the body interfering with thyroid production. This is why the longer you have been overweight and the percentage of body fat you have correlate to this problem as toxic substances are stored in the fatty tissues of the body.

Recent testing on clients has found this to be true.

There are several ways to detox the body of these metabolic disruptors.
