About Rick Bramos
A fitness professional with 35 years of experience as a coach, trainer and competitor, Rick Bramos has always had a profound curiosity about what motivates people to start and stick with physical exercise.
As a boy, he watched his father compete as a bodybuilder during the era when Charles Atlas fought back against bullies in comic book ads as a former “97-pound weakling.”
In the U.S. Army, he spent three years coaching the troops during their off hours in softball, basketball and boxing.
In the 1980's, he opened the first Gold's Gym in the state of South Carolina and competed successfully as a powerlifter, even though he was considered “over the hill” for being past the age of 30.
Rick's fitness credentials include Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor certifications from the American Council on Exercise (A.C.E.). He was one of the first men certified to teach Step, Body Pump and Spinning.
A voracious reader, he keeps up with the latest scientific and medical findings related to fitness, nutrition, the biochemistry of the human body, and human performance. His work with clients enables him to continually refine his training protocols as he observes their experiences and results.
In his spare time, Rick enjoys flying and taking youngsters up for their first flight in a program called Young Eagles. He especially enjoys the outdoors with the BB Girls...his wife Bonny and Golden Retriever Boomer.
He lives in beautiful Greenville, South Carolina. For Information About The 2DF Virtual Training Program Click Here
